Okay, Mel Gibson is pro-life. For that, I admire his courage. However, he is also a bit... shall we say, crazy. He left his wife and children, hooked up with some Russian no sing talent, had a child with her, beat the crap out of his new girlfriend.... and I am not going to even get into the whole “sugar T*ts incident”. So, yes, he is pro-life but he isn’t a person that I would want to be associated with personally.
Interesting article. Never knew that about Nicholson’s lineage, but it probably goes a long way to explaining why he is like he is :)
And Jim Caviezel keeps going up the list of my “must see” actors, not only for his abilities in front of the screen, but equally for his “talk the talk and walk the walk” attitude about what he believes.
I agree with Caviezel and Verastegui (who is not exactly unheard of).

I dont look for leadership from Hollywood types. It may be good to see that there are a few semi-normal people in Hollywood,but in the end,it dont matter to me.
Leadership can only be found in the Founding Fathers. They built the damn system so they know what they meant.
