This little female Rottweiler was dropped over the fence into my yard by a stranger, and I cared for her nine days while trying to find her owners. Failing that, I attempted to find a good family who would adopt her. She's smart, obedient, and follows commands, but most of all, she's gentle and sweet-natured, and loves to be sung to sleep. I named her "Honey". She charmed my mailman, my insurance agent, several neighbors, and at least one FReeper. ;-) On our ninth day together, the Junior Humane Society arrived and took her to the Vet's office and finally, to a foster home. She'll rest there while recovering from various treatments and then will be put up for adoption through "Pet Smart". My warmest regards and gratitude to Joe 6-pack, Blam, and VetVetDoug for their prayers, support and sound advice. You guys are the best! And thank you, Frankie and the Jr. Humane Society of Escambia County, Florida. Merry Christmas to Honey, Ranger, Joe 6-pack, and to all!
What a beautiful, sweet Honey! Those human paws are pretty cute looking too ;-)
Blam's right; the world would be a better place with more people like you!
