Forgot to post my foster dog. He is 95 pounds and could put on a few more pounds! Cannot understand why someone would turn him in to a high kill shelter with his calm manners and good looks.

He is a handsome lad.
I am a foster fail. I rescued a purebred Finnish Spitz that I intended to foster but fell in love with him. He is 6 and they neutered him at the shelter. The braindead owners turned him in with his papers which the shelter conventiently lost. He came from a very exclusive breeder who sells his dogs for show.
Don’t know why the owners did not send him back to the breeder as stipulated in his original purchase contract. I am worried because of his age and him being neutered that he would have no purpose to some people.
Your Shepard is beautiful. Are you going to keep him or adopt him out? I voluteer with a group that works with the local animal shelter to network and save dogs and cats. Last Saturday we adopted out 19 dogs and 5 cats. we work with quite a few rescues in Texas and around the country. We get most of the Shepards either adopted or rescued. I have not seen any go down since I have been involved.
Merry Christmas.
A most HANDSOME DUDE! and such tender, loving eyes!
