In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of “Word for the Day”.
Limn
tr.v. limned, limn·ing (lmnng), limns
1. To describe.
2. To depict by painting or drawing.
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

it involves boxes of stove top stuffing [suthreners use cornbread, but being a yankee, i use traditional stuffing mix] 2 jars of chicken gravy, 2 cups of chicken breast, either baked or rotisserie, one largish can of cream of chicken soup and then you do a soup can full of milk for additional liquid. Whyisa has you mixing up the stuffing on the stove, but i just dumped the various ingredients in the slow cooker and just mixed it very thoroughly to make sure there was no dry stuffing mix at the bottom. i cooked it through in the oven last night and brought it in with the slow cooker heating element and have it plugged in my ofc.

LOL. I stole the first cartoon from another website and then realized that I hadn’t refreshed overnight. I liked the 2nd illustration better.

Over the summer Uno’s had water with lemons, limes and cucumbers in it. I would get a glass whenever I went in. Delish!
