"Most patients reported eating refrigerated prepackaged Nestle Toll House cookie dough products raw.
"Nestle instituted a voluntary recall, while the FDA and CDC warned consumers not to eat any varieties of prepackaged Nestle Toll House refrigerated cookie dough. They warned that those with products on hand should discard them, rather than cooking them, as consumers might get the bacteria on their hands and on other cooking surfaces."

Don't eat prepackaged cookie dough before it's baked.Do your tastebuds and gut a favor.

I’ll admit that I love the stuff. I usually eat one raw and bake the rest.

I learned the hard way if you love cookie dough make it yourself and eat it as soon as possible. The logic is simple prepackaged setting around a long time cookie dough is a perfect environment for bacteria.

It would have been funnier if the states were colored brown instead of yellow.
It says right on the package not to eat it.
