It’s about time somebody came to their senses.
I hear, that in the interest of balance, TLC is working on a series promoting the glories of Christianity. It intends to feature Christians who are an asset to their communities. Oh, of course I just made that up. I have an overactive imagination.
The article doesn’t say what the objection to the show is. I wouldn’t think that a reality show about American Moslems would be objectionable in itself, but rather if it were not an accurate portrayal, or if it took a heavily propagandistic spin. The latter may be the case, but this article doesn’t specify what the problem with the show is.
Looks like the PC mob took a hit in the shorts.
Lowes #: 1-800-445-6937
I am holding right now.
After examining the Lowes site for several minutes, I called the only phone number I could find, a number under the words “Need help?”. Given a few prompts, I eventually chose “customer care” which then gave me a choice that had the word “comments”.
I would mind waiting on hold a lot less if I did not have to hear every 30 seconds “We are still assisting other customers...etc.” Here’s a clue, Lowes: If I am still hearing your stupid music, I know that I am still connected.
Okay, after 12 minutes, I spoke to a very nice woman who took my comment praising Lowes for pulling its ads.
Megan Kelly doing story on this right now.
Stupid state senator Liu (sp?) is calling for a boycott of Lowe’s, says “Islam is a religion of peace” and he can’t believe Lowe’s ignorance of this.
I tried numerous times to send an email on the florida family website via their form to all the show’s sponsors - you just fill in your name and email address, but every time I tried to send, it took me to a screen saying I needed to put a subject in it. Well, the subject line is already filled in and you can’t alter it!
Anyone else try it and have problems? There are a couple of links in the comments section of the article to the website.
