Thanks, of course, to Free Republic for this opportunity to vent in the form of this vanity posting. I'm still smarting from Nelson Cruz's miss in game 6 of the series:

I was hoping that with the collapse of the Eagles and the Giants (until tonight), the Cowboys could have at least claimed the NFC East. Sigh. At least, I can relive this over and over again:

I can give nelson Cruz a pass on that one - he had already pulled a groin by that point in the game and was probably moving too slow. Why was he having to run down a ball, anyway? The bullpen blew two final strike saves that game.
