There's a show on NatGeo that had an epi with a rocket engine
designer as the guest. He originally did a jet-ski powered
backpack for his daughter.
The jet-ski was tethered and manned. It was redesigned with and for
the series host to use, that is, larger diameter "nozzles" for
increased thrust, and a lightened backpack frame.
