They may look like the sketches of a madman with too much time on his hands. 
But these stunning landscapes are in fact a labour of love for German artist Heike Weber - who used permanent marker pens to draw on acrylic floors and walls 
The art installation series, called Utopia, has transformed a dull and dreary apartment in Neumünster into a surreal landscape of visual depth and complexity.

    Acrylic — that sounds like Plexiglas. If he cut the Plexiglas and put it up so it can be easily removed without damage later, why should the landlord care.

    Could you imagine how much it must have stank while he was working on those? Permanent markers smell horrible...the smell gives me a headache...

    Reminds me of living on the economy in the middle east...a landlord held up the rotation of an army officer...who held Captain Miller to the lease *the apartment must be painted before you leave*....The officer took off a day of work and painted the whole place black ..ceilings, floor.... he told the landlord..*it was painted.* and flew on to Weisbaden without looking back.
