I'm tired of freepers who knowingly or unknowingly push the homosexual agenda.

As far as I know I don't know any stupid freepers. As I see it:

  1. While some freepers may appear stupid at times, I don't know if it's permanent or perceived.

  2. Some freepers are just plain ignorant of the facts.

  3. Other freepers are biased to the point that no fact or plethora of facts will open their eyes. The freepers who fall into this category are unteachable.

And there are other categories as well.

The cost is too high and the time too short. Nice doesn't always work. I've had it and I'm going to start tearing new assholes for some freepers. That's a figure of speech in case those who fall into category 3 above can't figure it out.

I have ultra liberal leftist family members who used to (when I visited them) continually act confontational and purposely state their beliefs and an agressive manner. If I ever, even once, spoke one word of polite dissent, it was Civil War 2. One of the main topics that destroyed my relationship with them was homosexuality. I never, ever talked about it - but they just knew I was opposed to the homo agenda. So they would shove it in my face as a weapon. I had always tried to be polite and respectful to family members even though they held views diatmetrically opposite from mine, but to no avail.

*******************************

I had the same problem with my in-laws. When homosexual marriage became legal here, they stopped by to gloat, with my sister in law yelling at me so aggressively that she sprayed my face with saliva.

Where’s the clapping emoticon when I need it? Or that clapping gif from Citizen Kane?

At this point it’s one side or the other, the dark side or the side of light, take your pick, no hanging out in the meridian any more. No one who regularly reads on FR can claim ignorance any more.

We must be related. I’ve had shouting, fingers jabbed repeatedly into my face, screaming 2 inches away, and much much more that is too painful to relate.

At this point “unknowingly” is not an option AFAIAC.

Yes, I agree children should be protected from these things.

But the US and europe is exporting such things to Asian TV and film and MTV type videos even on such “family friendly” places like Glee. ( I live in the Philipines).

What is worse is that they combine programs aimed at teens with with a materialistic/greedy lifestyle which implies being rich is good, living “green” is good, but ignores the traditional values of thrift and hard work and caring for our neighbor and the poor.

Sigh.

I have many friends either in or from the PI and it used to be quite different, a generation or so ago.

To help our kids remain kids as long as possible, we live in the country, homeschool, let our kids watch very limited TV and other things. We also teach our kids how to think for themselves. We definitely don't teach our kids what to think. They are up on current events, know science well and have no idea how to be a racist or a bigot. They care for and feed the homeless and serve in soup kitchens.

Our kids are very well adjusted, excel in sports and musical instruments. I've also taught them how to defend themselves.

God has really blessed us with some great kids who impress everyone they meet.

So while it isn't easy and even family makes it more difficult at times, it's possible to raise kids right. It's definitely worth it!

Just the titles are enough... So instead of exporting freedom, the US is exporting forced sodomy appreciation.

Puke.

We have a marxist coup on our hands.

Well done!! One thing the world desperately needs is well raised and educated children. It’s a wonderful service to raise children the way you and your wife are doing.

I have 2 very close family members that are homosexual..I struggled with how to handle this..

One is female and now in a 20 year relationship ..I love this girl, I know she was sexually abused as a kid..
The other a 21 year old young man

I have determined to love them as I do all of the other sinners in my family .. They know i am a Christian and so they never speak of their lifestyle in my presence.. If they do i will tell them what God says about homosexuality ..but that he provided a propitiation for those that repent and come to him .

What's funny is my 15-year-old likes to walk up to me, stick his chest out and say "bring it." Of course I take him down everytime, no problem. Still, I'm not sure I'll teach him everything I know! :-)

He tries to get even by asking me for help with his Latin work... he knows I don't know Latin so when he tries this, I just knock him out of his chair and he loves it but it drives the wife crazy... "He's in school" she says, and I reply "well, there's a hard knock for him."

I'll start teaching both our kids Greek soon. Was supposed to start this year but the new job requires a lot of my time right now.

He's taking an on-line Great Books course where they read The Illiad, The Odyssey, Aristotle, Plato and more. Actually, our 11-year-old takes it with him. Both kids are doing very well in class. We couldn't be more proud.

Brings a huge smile to my face and actually a tear or two to my eyes. At this point, raising children with a moral compass, faith in God (of course it’s still voluntary but with a good foundation much better chance of fruits ripening), a good solid knowledge of history and even Greek and Latin - and the ability to think rationally - it one of the very best services to God and humanity anyone can do.

Welcome to the wonderful world of emotional blackmail, brought to you by the homosexual agenda. My advice is don't give in to it. You can tell your relative that she is welcome to visit as is her child. But the "partner" is not welcome. Why? Because you don't want to have to explain to your own kids why so-and-so has two mommies.

That would be my reasoning. As a parent, you have a responsibility to protect your children first. Protecting them from weirdo sex-fetish relatives has been a common concern throughout the ages. The only difference is that now the weirdos have no shame and no compunction about bring their sickness right into the heart of the family. We must be equally shameless in resisting it, or we risk losing our children.
