Pregnancy Greeting Card's Message Offensive to Some

Some are calling a greeting card offensive, but others say the mass-produced card available at Target is just a joke.

On the outside, it reads “Heard you’re pregnant”.

On the inside, there is just one word … let’s just say it starts with a “w” and rhymes with “bore”.

“Wait a minute, not offensive?”

I believe I said that the card was not necessarily offensive.

Some recipients of the of the card may find it offensive while others may find it humorous.

However, I find it a bit ironic that someone spotted the card in Target and thought it would be a good idea to alert to media so that a TV newscast could provide free advertising for the card.

I think it suggests a higher incidence of homosexuality than many would admit, since that is the subgroup most noted for both compulsive sex-acts and sterility.

Some homosexuals are also rabidly anti-"breeder".

There are some out there whom one’s tempted to send that to. That said, if you actually buy that and send it, you’re either really, really good friends with the recipient...or whichever set of gonads you have, you clank when you walk.
