Excitement turned to pain after a man suddenly received a shotgun blast to the buttocks while bird hunting with several companions Sunday.

Pipper the yellow labrador was the triggerdog behind the blast the sent his 46-year-old hunting companion to the hospital. Somehow, caught up in the excitement of the hunt, Pipper set off the shotgun that struck Brigham City native Robert Cottingham in the lower back and buttocks.

Nature is nature? Man is as ‘natural’ and as valid a part of the eco system as any other animal, AND we happen to reside at the top of the food chain. Meat is ‘on the menu’ and belongs there.

Lion eating a gazelle, often while it is still alive, is ok. Perhaps, if we did it that way, more naturally, it would be ok? Maybe I’ll tape some nice sharp hooks to my hands and go play lion down in my goat pen. It might be so much more humane than a quick shot to the head or a slit throat.

I saw an episode of “Animal Cops” recently, they seized dogs from a home of people that fed their dogs rice, etc, no meat. They explained that it was animal abuse, the dogs were not healthy due to lack of meat proteins. Ponder that.

Don’t have to. While Animal Cops is a good show it is typical of what the MSM wants you to see. Agriculture and Agrifarming is big money business that has bled into the media so that you, as a consumer, will believe anything that they say.

I quote my vet, “your dogs are so healthy, it must be what you are feeding them”. We explained what we feed them and his comment was, “keep giving it to them”. Protein comes from many resources other than meat. You have the internet so do some investigating.

Not buying your stuff. I have vets in my family, no responsible vet would ever recommend a diet for dogs that did not include meat protein. Additionally, “vegans” have an agenda that involves only their “issues” and applies to a “holier than thou” position.
