Excitement turned to pain after a man suddenly received a shotgun blast to the buttocks while bird hunting with several companions Sunday.

Pipper the yellow labrador was the triggerdog behind the blast the sent his 46-year-old hunting companion to the hospital. Somehow, caught up in the excitement of the hunt, Pipper set off the shotgun that struck Brigham City native Robert Cottingham in the lower back and buttocks.

All of my dogs are VEGAN and they love it. As an experiment, I placed a piece of meat in their bowl along side of a pile of sweet potatoes. Can you guess what they went for, if you choose the meat you are wrong.

You're proud of this? Idiot. Dogs are carnivores. They need a complete diet. What you're doing is harmful to their health. It's one thing to live your own stupidity, another to force it on an animal who has no choice.

You are absolutely correct! People who think hunting is a cruel way for animals to die have never considered what happens in nature. Animals get old and are unable to get food for themselves, there is no veterinarian with a shot to put them to sleep like he does with Fido. They die of starvation except for when a carnivore eats them while they are still alive. I think a nice clean bullet would be preferable.
