My 27 year old (male) co-worker says Cain has been abusing him since the 1970s.

It was irresponsible to publish the allegations until they were independently investigation by the “journalist” and some evidence had been found.
Otherwise, Ms. White should have been sent to the Enquirer to tell her story.
Oh, wait . . . the Enquirer patiently investigated the Edwards story until it had some evidence or corroboration and THEN published.
