It gets overlooked, but quite a few serial killers are from the gay community. Besides Gacy, I can think of Dahmer and William Boninm, the Freeway Killer. There was also married Herbert Baumeister who owned the Save a Lot grocery chain that was into gay sex and killing.

I get Gacey confused with Dean Corll, the Tx homo mass murderer who killed 29 young men and boys and maybe more.
Thank God both these monsters are dead. Coryll was shot by an accomplice and Gacey was executed.
