Karen Gillan has said that she doubts any future acting role will be more fun than Doctor Who.
The actress joined the show in April 2010 as companion Amy Pond alongside the 11th Doctor played by Matt Smith.
"It's been so amazing," she told the Evening Standard. "I don't think I will ever have a job quite so fun ever again."

Dr. Who is probably a great gig cast or crew.

I’ve been a Dr Who fan for a while now. I find it one of the few TV shows worth watching. Yes, the special effects are hokey, but so what?

Dang! A hot Brit who doesn’t have buck teeth. I guess she has never used Britain’s mediscam system.

Please add me to the Dr Who ping list.
I started off with Tom Baker in ‘77. Nobody after him really interested me, until Ecclesten. Tenant was spectacular and I have warmed to Matt Smith. I think that’s in large part because of Amy and Rory. And, oh, that River Song!

I started off with Ecclesten, then went on to Tennant. Both were fantastic with their own style. I like Billie Piper best as the sidekick.
I’ve watched the first couple of episodes with Matt Smith. So far, so good. The characters seem to be geared toward a younger audience. Perhaps the appeal to youth is to garner a wider audience of followers.
Eventually, I’ll go back to Tom Baker but I think the grainy video of the older broadcasts may be off putting.
