I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia last year. Chronic migranes, joint pain, digestive problems, insomnia, chronic sinus infections, pervasive fatigue, and recurrent yeast infections. I was so used to living in pain, I forgot was it like to not be in pain.

When the medications used to treat it weren't working or caused nasty side effects (the right side of my face collapsed), a friend recommended going to a holoistic chiropractor.

This man did a complete medical history. Spent 2.5 hours with me going over every detail of my history and condition.

In the end, he said I didn't have fibro - I had systemic candidas. He gave me a sugar free, yeast free diet to follow and some over the counter candidas cleanse that I could buy at the health food store.

Three days later, the migrane disappeared (after having one for eight months, I actually wept in relief). Over the next three months, EVERY symptom I had went away. I dropped 30 lbs. of toxins. I wasn't overweight before; at 5'9", I was about 150 lbs. I'm now 123 lbs, the weight I was in high school. I stick with the diet now, know my limitations, and have my energy and life back. I went from being so weak I couldn't open a ketchup bottle to being able to fix the shingles on my roof.

This may not be the answer for everyone, but I wonder how many folks are dealing with fibro that actually have systemic candidas. Just thought I'd put that out there in the event it might help others.

Excellent advice. Our family member also went to a holistic nurse and is much much better now.

Continued good health to you!

Thanks for the link and the tip on systemic candidas.

Mrs. Eagle has been battling fibro for almost 5 years. It breaks my heart to see the pain she endures every morning as she basically has to uncurl her body one muscle and joint at a time. Truly an evil affliction.

She spends a great deal of time researching fibro and disorders similar to it so I'm sure she'll dig in to this systemic candidas with great fervor.

Prayers for both of you and may God bless you and your families this holiday season.

Keep up the good fight. I have no doubt that God will one day eradicate this disorder from the face of the earth.

I love your story. I have heard of fibromyalgia disappearing from changes in diet. I think it is very hard for some because candida makes you fully addicted to sugar in all its forms. Grains and fruit included. Sometimes people drop white sugar and replace it with wheat and grain foods, fruit, honey, etc, and think “it doesn’t work.”. But if they gave up all of those things for a month, they would starve out the yeast and they could slowly add some natural sugars like fruit and maybe honey or non gluten grains back in.

No juice, no fake sugar, no sweeteners. Drink water. Tea and coffee with cream but no sugar.

Do it for one full month and I bet it would cure a zillion people. Your cravings will be very strong the first week as the yeasts beg you for sugar. Have your spouse help you, and have some really good food to eat while you wait out the cravings, like beef stew, any savory treats that font involve grains. Thin sliced roast beef with pickles. Etc.
