I love your story. I have heard of fibromyalgia disappearing from changes in diet. I think it is very hard for some because candida makes you fully addicted to sugar in all its forms. Grains and fruit included. Sometimes people drop white sugar and replace it with wheat and grain foods, fruit, honey, etc, and think “it doesn’t work.”. But if they gave up all of those things for a month, they would starve out the yeast and they could slowly add some natural sugars like fruit and maybe honey or non gluten grains back in.

No juice, no fake sugar, no sweeteners. Drink water. Tea and coffee with cream but no sugar.

Do it for one full month and I bet it would cure a zillion people. Your cravings will be very strong the first week as the yeasts beg you for sugar. Have your spouse help you, and have some really good food to eat while you wait out the cravings, like beef stew, any savory treats that font involve grains. Thin sliced roast beef with pickles. Etc.

What you said is absolutely true. No cheating. When I say I was vigilant, I wasn't joking. Nothing that wasn't on the approved list, period.

Started changing what I'm feeding my kids, too. Big changes in their behavior. After several weeks of charting my son's mood swings and diet, I was able to determine that pasta and other carbs sent him off the charts. Cut that stuff from his diet and he's like a whole different child.

The big thing was no "going out" to dinner, fast or otherwise. I could always tell when they put something not approved in my food, or cooked in peanut oil, etc. I would be sick as a dog the next day. Now I make homemade bread, biscuits, baked goods and it doesn't bother me. I'm wondering if both the fast acting yeast and/or HFSC (which is in everything, lately!) aren't doing more harm than folks realize.

Also spend a lot less time in the inner aisles of the supermarket. Do most of my shopping on the perimeter; meats, fresh vegetables, fresh fruits. No soda, juices, etc. Water with lemon slices or lime slices only. HUGE difference in my life.
