Yes, the voters were directly responsible, but the problem is that Rush confused a lot of people with that stunt and I believe he diluted some of the GOP vote. McCain was a horrible candidate, but by focusing so much on the Dems and on Hillary Clinton, I think Rush actually prevented us from getting a better candidate.

It was a stunt, and that’s fine - he’s a showman, and that’s what showmen do. But I think it was irresponsible, and I hope he doesn’t do something like that this time around.

Honestly, I think it is pointless and incorrect to assume that Rush had anything at all to do with the outcome of the election. I've seen a few people on here express anger at Rush's stunt, but I think it is a good possibility that those people are just using Rush as a scapegoat because they don't want to believe that we have become a country which would elect such a POS as Obama. It's far easier to believe we are still a sane country and blame a radio host.
