That is EXACTLY what happened, and I remember it like yesterday. The people attacking Rush now are doing it to simply help Romney or Obama.
It distracted us from our own candidates. I remember listening to Rush every day at that time, and I heard nothing but “Hillary Clinton” and “Democrats.”
That said, Rush is a radio personality and his job is to be attention-getting and entertaining and he does it very well. But I think we need to look at everything carefully and make our own decisions. (Also, I have a feeling that a lot of his opinions depend upon his wife of the moment.)
