Yeah, they freeload so much that one of my relatives who is in construction can’t even find workers to do the work that the Latin Americans (Mexicans, Brazilians and Ecuadorians) did. They freeload so much that the local pinestraw industry (laugh if you like, but that’s important in North Florida) is perishing for lack of workers.
One of the problems is that native born low-skilled blacks or whites simply consider these jobs beneath them. I had a friend who had a white trash “boyfriend” who worked one day as a laborer on a roofing job and then quit because he said they expected him to “work like a Mexican.”
That’s because we pay citizens welfare, as well. Don’t pay able bodied citizens one, thin dime in welfare money, and they’ll work.
But perhaps some of the native-born low-skilled workers would be more inclined to accept this kind of work, if it were not so easy to live off of the rest of us. If there were tighter limits to who/how long can get some of the social benefits that just flow like water now, maybe some people WOULD work to feed themselves.
