You Choose - "VANITY"

A choice for all of you....

TOPICS: Miscellaneous; TV/Movies
KEYWORDS: actor; actress; role
For the last few days, we've been picking our own, personal "worst" actors and actresses...and the opinions of all have been great to read.

Now, here's another challenge: name any leading movie/TV role (male or female), then replace the actor/actress that got the role with one you think would have done a far better job! This really does take some thought....

For example, replace Joanne Woodward in "Three Faces of Eve" with Marilyn Monroe. OK, it's just an example, but you get the idea!

Have at it!

How about: ANY actor or actress in "The Office" with ANY homeless wino brought in off the streets -- good LORD that show sucks.

Julie Andrews would have been a better Eliza Doolittle than Audrey Hepburn in “My Fair Lady” (naturally, as Andrews had been in the role on stage in London).

However, thank God they picked Hepburn for the part, as it allowed Andrews to do “Mary Poppins”, which I don’t think anyone else could have done.

Some things just work out.

Rosie O’Donnell in THE ROSIE O’DONNELL SHOW - replace her with paint drying on a wall. Far more interesting and better looking.

Replace Tom Hanks in the Da Vinci Code with Harrison Ford.

In Ford's younger years...maybe! Just maybe!

Not really the intent of the question, but I would agree.

Jimmy Fallon on THE JIMMY FALLON SHOW - replace him with a turnip from the food network. The turnip is funnier.

I've never watched this show, so I'll take your word for it.

How about a movie replacement??

I think PeeWee Herman replacing Arnold in the “Terminator” would be an interesting twist.......
