"No gender in the sport shows it off better than the girls." The article referenced fashion and style as well as the sport and the gals. If ya read the sentence with a women's style thought in mind, it doesn't come across as feminist pushy.
The language was "shows it off better", not "does it better" as you interpreted it. I think Sarah was emphasizing fashion right there.

So how does one go shooting a gun like that in a building full of people, am I missing something here? First, ya let about 1/4 inch length of your right reign slip through you left thumb to let your partner know what's up, then ya draw your rightmost revolver, cock the hammer, and plug the balloon, repeat 3 & 4 four more times, change guns and repeat five more times.
It helps to load blanks.
