get ready for some huge fallout over that comment. race baiters will be out in full force tomorrow.
I’ve thought about this. Why would people boo the first lady? The media can’t believe it. But I can. People don’t like be told they’re lousy parents, and Mrs. Obama has done that. People resent Mrs. Obama’s bizarre need to tell us what to eat and how much to exercise. She also has, let’s not forget her husband, Mrs. Obama has a husband that runs around and apologizes for this country that he was elected to lead. Australia the latest example. He went over there and basically apologized for the worthlessness of American students. I’m also pretty sure this crowd is not eager to go out and buy a car that you have to plug in in order to drive. This is a fast car kind of crowd. This is not a Prius, Volt, Leaf, plug it in and charge it for 40 miles crowd.
Also I might point out people that go to NASCAR races are the very people her husband called bitter clingers. When things aren’t going well, what do they do? Why, they cling to their guns, and they cling to their religion. Oh, and there was that trillion dollars for Obama’s union and green energy contributors, all of this money that Obama has given to people like Solyndra and all these screwy expenditures, not to mention the fact that her husband has bankrupted the US economy. Oh, and what about Obamacare? You think the people at the NASCAR race might be among the crowd, among the 65 to 70% of the country that wants no part of her husband’s health care bill that Moochelle campaigned for? What is so hard to understand about this woman being booed? Only in media capitals could you scratch your head over the fact that the first lady gets booed. Are they still of the belief that the Obamas have 90% approval, that they’re loved and adored by everybody, that they’re still considered Mr. and Mrs. Messiah?
Bottom line, we don’t like being told what to eat; we don’t like being told how much to exercise; we don’t like being told what we’ve got to drive; we don’t like wasting money; we don’t like our economy being bankrupted. We don’t like 14% unemployment. The question is, what the hell is there to cheer for when Miss Obama and Ms. Biden show up? NASCAR people, as are most people in this country, are mature, tolerant people, who fully understand when they’re being insulted and condescended to. And they remember being called bitter clingers. They know that in their hearts the Obamas don’t like them. We’ve taken notice of this, as has, by the way, Chris Matthews. And a lot of congressional Democrats are also fully aware that the Obamas just don’t like a lot of people, and they don’t like hanging around a lot of people.
I’ll tell you something else. We don’t like paying millions of dollars for Mrs. Obama’s vacations. The NASCAR crowd doesn’t quite understand why when the husband and the wife are going to the same place, the first lady has to take her own Boeing 757 with family and kids and hangers-on four hours earlier than her husband, who will be on his 747. NASCAR people understand that’s a little bit of a waste. They understand it’s a little bit of uppity-ism. First ladies have not been known to hop their own 757s four hours ahead of their husband when they’re both going to the same place. The NASCAR people and the rest of the country are not so hip to 12- and 15-day vacations in Spain with 35 people along for the ride while they can’t get work, while they can’t get raises. While the price of gasoline is going up and the price of jet fuel and airline tickets, the Obamas are flying around like nothing costs them anything. Oh, it doesn’t. Sorry.
And, by the way, of those in the media this is the woman, Michelle Obama, who famously said about three years ago that the first time she’s ever been proud of her country was when her husband was running for the presidency. Not when he was in the Illinois Senate, not when he was a community organizer, not when she was at Princeton, no. She was never proud of her country ‘til her husband was running for office. Well, the NASCAR people love their country and they’ve been proud of it since they were born. What is so hard to understand about Miss Obama being booed? What do you in the media not understand about a 42% approval rating? What do you not understand about the fact that they are not Mr. and Mrs. Messiah anymore?
Really, NASCAR people, the rest of us, we do not like being told steak and arugula. We do not like being told that we can only eat what’s being grown in her garden. She comes off as a public figure who doesn’t care for the people who are paying for her outlandish lifestyle. She doesn’t appear to be appreciative of any of it. The grand life that she and her husband are allowed to live, they don’t appear to be appreciative. They appear to disdain it. And it’s just not often that people get a chance to tell her. So she shows up at a World Series game and gets booed. She shows up at NASCAR and gets booed. What’s hart to figure out here, media?
RUSH: Hey, media, I’ll tell you something else about Moochelle Obama getting booed at NASCAR. Maybe people are getting fed up and sick and tired of not being able to escape people campaigning. They want to go to a last automobile race, and they have to sit there and listen to the First Lady be introduced. They go to NASCAR to get away from that stuff. Did you ever think of that? There’s a whole host of reasons to explain why these ladies might get booed anywhere they go. In fact, President Obama mocked candidates going to NASCAR races in his book, The Audacity of Hope. He called it “political stagecraft,” said he wouldn’t do it. He mocked candidates that went off to NASCAR — and there’s his wife! You think these people don’t know this? You think people only know about Obama what you have told them? Believe me, there’s a whole world of Barack and Michelle Obama, media, that the people of this country know that you haven’t bothered to tell ‘em — and you may not have even bothered to find out yourself. But I could continue to go through this list about why it might be understandable that she would be booed.

RUSH: You know, I don’t know what is so surprising? Media the media, “How dare they be so disrespectful?” You want to try disrespectful? Try telling people they don’t know what to do; they don’t know how to raise their kids; don’t know how to feed their kids; don’t know how to feed themselves; don’t know how to choose the right kind of car to drive. I mean the Obamas are insulting everybody, as liberals are wont to do, telling them how to live. They don’t know the right car to drive, incapable of making the right decisions in life. Don’t forget this, folks, the Democrats in Congress tried to put an end to the Department of Defense sponsorships of NASCAR race cars. The Department of Defense sponsored some NASCAR cars and Democrats in Congress tried to put a stop to it.
The people that go to NASCAR races, the general consensus among the media and the establishment people is that you epitomize, you NASCAR people epitomize hayseeds, hicks, pro-lifers, the kind of people that get to church on Saturday night just to get the best parking spot for Sunday services. They hold you in such contempt. But yet at election time they will try to make you think that they’re one of you, so they come up with these voting blocs, they call ‘em soccer moms and NASCAR dads, so forth and so on. But these NASCAR people know this, because they’re not stupid. They are not what Democrats think of ‘em.
RUSH: No. Nope, nope. You have to understand these people the way I do. I’m trying to help you out here; you’re obviously not gonna be open to this. Give Moochelle half a chance and she would be dictating everything on sale or available at school lunch cafeterias. It’s what she’s doing! Her own husband has to have foreign dignitaries in and go to a fast food joint to get away from her dictates! But despite that she’s making him follower edicts on menus. She’s out dictating to people what she thinks people ought to eat or not. But I went through the whole routine. I don’t want to have to repeat this. There’s any number of reasons why the NASCAR people would have booed Mrs. Obama and Mrs. Biden. It was a great monologue, and, you know, you can’t do great things twice. They stand on their own. But there’s no question to people here, Jonathan. She doesn’t mind her own business. You know, pure and simple. And she doesn’t. The “first time” she’s been “proud of her country” is when her husband runs for office? People remember these things. That’s all. She shows up at NASCAR, an organization the Democrat Party has mocked and made fun of? It’s not hard to understand in any way.
