One of victims accusing Jerry Sandusky the former Penn State football coach has been bullied out of school, pennlive.com reports, citing the teens psychologist.
Students blame the 17-year-old high school senior - identified as Victim 1 in the grand jury report - for the universitys firing of legendary football coach Joe Paterno, psychologist Mike Gillum told the site.
Watch the video to see In Session contributor Sara Ganim discussing the bullying Victim 1 has endured.

Pennsylvania has some very nasty white trash living in some rural areas. They burn down Amish barns, covered bridges, etc. I had an encounter with some once, which I won’t easily forget.
burn it clean
Thank you VERY much for the ping. Will do a bunch of pinging in a bit.

THAT'S IT!!!!
Looks like the NBC enabling of Sandusky’s lawyer’s threat to teh victims is working just as planned. Bob Costas (sportsd pedophiles, anyone?) must be so please he could be of service.
This is so sad for the victim. No wonder male abuse victims don’t come forward as much as other groups. There isn’t any sort of reasonable answer for this child either. Does the Mom move him out of state? What about her job if she just picks up and leaves? Should he just try to get his G.E.D.?
I probably should have posted this article and this article about John Matko, who dared to stand in the middle of Curtin Road, a few yards from Beaver Stadium, on the day of the Nebraska-Penn State game.
The Penn State graduate's cap had black tape over the logo. His handwritten sign said "put abused kids first," "the kids are what this day is about, not who wins or loses," "honor the abused kids by canceling this game and the season."
He was greeted with obscenities, thrown cups of beer, a slap, from Penn State fans.
And I couldn't find the *really* detailed article about all of the things that were said and done to him.
So, yeah, I can see a bunch of Penn State fans hounded this kid out of school for being Victim #1, the kid who was orally sodomized multiple times, and more. The kid who asked his mother about sex freaks, causing her to question why he wanted to know. The mother who contacted school officials. The school where two coaches spoke openly and frankly with investigators regarding their concerns with Sandusky.
What is interesting is that the Sports Illustrated Special Issue on this subject said that Steven Tuchetta, the coach who reported the sexual abuse of Victim #1, was now a hero in the town for simply doing what was required; something Penn State didn't do.
It appears Sports Illustrated wrote too quickly. Or maybe the coach is still revered (I doubt) and the vile attacks are only against the poor kid who was assaulted multiple times by Sandusky.
Penn State football. Gotta love those priorities.
Poor, poor child. My heart breaks for him. How will he ever deal with this horror in the future?
It all brings back to me the brilliance and horror of James Dickey’s novel “Deliverance” and the vile act of male rape and it’s impact on young manhood.
They were actually selling obscene buttons claiming “It don’t mean nuttin’” to the Penn State student body and some fools were wearing them until the school administrators came to their senses and ordered the sales stopped. The bozos don’t realize that they have a very badly damaged brand throughout the rest of the country (none of the bowl games want them) and all the piling on of the innocents and brushing off the evil that happened will only make a bad situation worse.
"Abuse flew at Matko from young and old, students and alumni, men and women. No one intervened. No one spoke out against the abuse."
"One disapproving student said, 'Not now, man. This is about the football players.'"
"And with those nine words, we see the truth about Saturdays enterprise. It was about the football program, not the children. It was morbid theater where people were mourning the death of a jock culture that somewhere along the line, mutated into malignancy. Its a malignancy that deprioritized rape victims in the name of big-time football.
Comments from anyone attending the game? Anyone? Bueler? Bueler?
“How will he ever deal with this horror in the future?”
Much, much better than most victims of child abuse: there’s a multimillion dollar settlement in his future....and the futures of the other Penn State victims.
Penn State isn’t a school. It’s a pedophile hangout.
“In 2003, less than one year after Paterno was told that Sandusky was raping children, he allowed a player accused of rape to suit up and play in a bowl game. Widespread criticism of this move was ignored. In 2006, Penn State’s Orange Bowl opponent Florida State, sent home linebacker A.J. Nicholson, after accusations of sexual assault. Paternos response, in light of recent events, is jaw-dropping. He said, “There’s so many people gravitating to these kids. He may not have even known what he was getting into, Nicholson. They knock on the door; somebody may knock on the door; a cute girl knocks on the door. What do you do? Geez. I hope — thank God they don’t knock on my door because I’d refer them to a couple of other rooms.
The buttons actually read “MUCH ADO ‘BOUT NUTTIN’.”
I mean psychologically, of course. No amount of payola can compensate for rape.
If Sandusky’s trial is held there, he’ll walk.

What does this say about our society, our values, our country? That the victim of a disgusting and evil serial homosexual child molester is the one who is tormented? I hope the victims' parents (hope he has a father as well) moves far away from that hellhole. And sues the heck out of whoever and whatever is related to the crimes, including the cover up and enabling. Whoever allowed Sadusky to continue his crime spree is guilty too.
Can the NCAA do a complete footballectomy on Penn State? It deserves nothing less. It shouldn’t even have a team.
The Rose Bowl has said it will take Penn State if Penn State wins the Big 10.
Bend over and squeal like a Penn (State fan).
Reminds me of why I disliked jocks when I was in high school.
