The Netherlands has had (and currently has) quite a few players in MLB. They play good ball over there, just beat Cuba a few months ago in the baseball World Cup. The men over there are large. My son, who is 6’3” spent a couple of years there - he said it was the only place where he felt smaller than normal (except for the Muzzie imports- but that’s a different story).

I’d use the term people advisedly - especially Lynnwood and
Renton/Kent/Tukwila and around JBLM. What a ghastly pit.

Us also. We left Bremerton, WA (we both worked in Seattle) in July 2006 and came back home to Alabama. Could not be happier.

I’d bet he was from Suriname or the Netherlands Antilles.

I'm a Seattle Mariners fan and just barely recognize the name.
What a salutary reminder that every breath we take is from God, Who can call us out of this world at any moment no matter how young or strong.
RIP, young man.
