They share a background in fashion. David is now running many divisions if Ralph Lauren Inc, and seems to be very successful at it. Lauren has been a very successful top model since her teens. She now runs her own philanthropic foundation.
Why should this charming couple, who have their own accomplishments & successes to their credit, be criticized and trashed because of their families? Ralph Lauren is the ultimate example of the self-made man and the all- American success story. Starting as a tie salesman at Brooks Brothers and rising to the top of the fashion business world. Lauren’s grandfather and uncle were Republican Presidents of the US, a heritage to be proud of.

By the way, I have been out to Telluride and have driven several miles around the split-rail fencing of Ralph Lauren's fabulous mountaintop property as well. What a view. He has certainly earned it.

I agree completely. It makes me wonder if we don't have some infiltrates here to give us a bad name. Needs to stop.
