No, it's not a hack. Anyone can create a login for the website and create an event.

They've been "pranked", but not "hacked".

The URL you clicked references an event that does not exist. This event may have existed at one time but been subsequently deleted.

Is what you see now... but the Host is real. Plus, it was predicted by REDSTATE the post would be down within an hour of discovery and it was..with a few minutues to spare. ;)
