Misfire by it's name will not produce a gunshot wound. That means the round did NOT go off.
A Jam by it's nature will not produce a gunshot wound. That means the weapon did not cycle a new round into the chamber.
In both cases the weapon does NOT FIRE.
So maybe that old high school rifle teacher really did know what he was talking about. Apparently you do not. -
