I find the fact that a vintage Webcore WIRE recorder is pictured far more interesting than the topic of the article ;-)
Had one as a kid, found out that tying the wire in a knot was not a very good splicing method ;-)

actually, I have seen reagan in the 1950’s on a tv show as a guest, and he did come across as a bit vapid at the time. Who knows if this is true (I see no reason to doubt it on the face of it), but I am not under the impression that Mr. Reagan at 40 was a terribly interesting person to be around.
