"The Big Broadcast is a Sunday night tradition for families throughout the WAMU listening area. Each week, Big Broadcast host Ed Walker offers listeners priceless recordings of popular radio programs from the '30s, '40s and '50s. Priceless, especially, for a man whose first sentence as a child was, 'Turn the radio on.' "

Hey. Can't add anything as I didn't watch.

Brisket smoke this weekend, which turned out well.

Something cool I've been playing with today, an internet radio. You can listen to any radio station all over the world if they stream on the internet. Damn fun!

I don’t get why you need one of these radios. My computer audio output is connected to the stereo.

I don’t have a computer in the kitchen. And it can be moved outside.

I get it now. How do they work? Do you spin a dial or is it like a popup menu. We’ve used Pandora for a while.

You can search by call letters, genre, or location. There's a knob on the top that works with an alpha menu. It's setup to work with Pandora but I haven't used it. I had a fun time listening to this wacky AM new age meets cocktails show in phoenix the other night. Today there was Key West music and fishing conditions. Fun stuff for a radio fan. I'm sure there are bbq shows, they just need to be found.

Vision, we’re both doing fine. I hope you’re having a good weekend, and all is well.

Like Logitech said, we have the computer audio hooked to the big stereo. We also have satellite speakers on the covered front porch, and we run the iPod “dock” speaker into the kitchen. We don’t have a very big space, so it works well here.

All is great. Blue skies and leaves coming off the trees here.

Am looking forward to Mysterious Traveler and am curious about Lux.

Evening, folks.

"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

Beat the dirty birds 26-23 OT. Puts the Saints up 1-1/2 games going into the bye.

Well, you’re right, it doesn’t really do anything you aren’t setup for already.
