AUDIO: Cain: Not Interested in Being Romney's VP
Fox Nation ^
Posted on 11/11/2011 8:50:10 PM PST by caseyn
On the 'Savage Nation' Herman Cain revealed the conditions under which he would accept a VP slot. Cain raises concern with Romney's 59 point economic growth plan and cites it as a reason as to why he would reject the VP offer from Mitt Romney. "I like him as a business man, if he gets it, I am going to support him, but I have to work with someone that I could compliment, not someone thats wants to put me in a role that I would not want to do"

Cain isn’t running for VP, if he had said “yes” to that his campaign is over.

It sure seems like he’s leaving himself wiggle room to accept it later.

I remember Perrywinkles slamming Cain here that he was running for Romney’s VP. So it is nice for that meme to be knocked off the table.

Perhaps Cain has finally realized he has no chance to be Romney’s VP. Cain has nothing to offer the ticket: no state, no women, no minority vote. Why in the world would Romney pick him at this point?

Here is the elite begging Cain to step aside. It’s Romney’s turn to lose so we can give it to Obama one more time.
I’m starting to wonder if Perry did that on purpose the other night? Just like Romney stepped aside for McCain... Maybe they asked Perry to step aside for Romeny? No proof, but I can’t but help to wonder it.

Good for Cain. Obviously he does not want to throw out his conservative principles just for some chance of being second fiddle to a RINO. That's what he is saying, if you read between the words.
I admire that he is sincere enough to make this statement in lieu of playing politics. We have enough of those types already in Washington. What is so refreshing about Cain, and what Americans like so much; want and need in leadership roles, is that he doesn't compromise his ideals for personal gain like the rest of our professional politicians.

I think Romney should pick your man, Perry. I would give $1000 to watch Perry debating Biden.

Why don’t these people ask romney if he would be somebodies VP? Why aren’t they asking this question to the other candidates? Why do they keep asking Mr. Cain when he’s been leading? But they don’t ask the others? Why do they keep trying to push Herman Cain aside?

Cain took that meme off the table back in his very first speech as candidate, back in, what was it, June? He directly stated that he was running to be president, and nothing less.
Only complete morons have alleged otherwise - but I guess that's the kind of thing people will do when they're trying to distract from the vast shortcomings of their preferred candidate.

If nominated, Romney would most likely go big-state conservative governor that can bring him a state...likely choices will be Texas or Florida. An outside chance on Newt or Haley Barbour, with zero chance of any of the other candidates being chosen. No women, no African-Americans, no novelty candidates.

That’s why he would go with a big state governor: Texas or Florida. Won’t waste his time on Cain or any of the others except maybe Newt.
