Nice watch, but I hope you didn’t pay that price for it. They sell on bidz.com for around $400.00.

Hah I bought it on biz! But I’ve never seen that one go for $400. The cheaper ones yes but not this one.

"My favorite forever. " I think I am on my third or fourth Timex Indiglo.
Recently I went to Kohls to get a replacement band after having repaired mine twice with epoxy.
The nice saleslady struggled to remove the old band and eventually broke off part of the watch that holds the band on. She accepted full responsibility for the problem, scanned a new watch, and handed it to me with a receipt showing no charge.

Best daily watch on the market. For my grown-up watch, I wear my retirement Hamilton with the Agency shield on the face.
A few years ago, I was in Puerto Stroessner, a smuggling port in Paraguay on the Rio Parana. Dude came up to me on the street, and just like in the movies, he rolled his sleeve up and had a half dozen "Rolexes" on his arm. We did some negotiating, and for a $100 bill, he gave me six of them plus he threw in a pair of knock-off Oscar De La Renta sunglasses. The watches made great gag Christmas gifts. ((BTW, there was a coup, and General Stroessner was ousted, and Puerto Stroessner is now known as Ciudad del Este.))

Are there actually people who still use wristwatches?
To: martin_fierro
Mid priced Timex Indieglo Expedition. Worth about 8-10 years of constant wear (yes even in showers) with one battery change. Tough and keeps decent time.
