I think you should put your keys and wallet in the other pockets.

Newt has done some political calculating and adjusted with the winds recently. He is part of the GOP establishment.

I used to be a fan but think Cain is the first choice. Newt would make a great VP, however. He knows the policital landscape and is a good strategist.

The question is, Is Newt still a resident of Georgia? If so, if Newt were to be Cain's running mate they would have to forfeit Georgia's Electoral College votes. That's not going to happen.

Newt mightmake a good advisor, but we need a younger individual as VP in order to prepare for the 2020 election.

I've seen this a lot. Too bad it makes NO sense at all.

I don’t think Newt can win general election. IMHO
However as VP i would be pleased with that. Cain first

I love Newt’s intellect, but I see him as secretary to the president, like sununu was to GB. Vice presidents are usually ignored, like biden. The last vice president that meant anything was chaney and he couldn’t stop bush from bargaining with ‘Ted Kennedy, the stupid son’!

He is part of the GOP establishment.

That’s just another way of saying that he is unqualified.

Gingrich would be a good policy adviser to any conservative POTUS.

I have been Cain/Gingrich for a while now. The knowledge and success this ticket would have compared to Obama/Biden is off the charts.
