The question is, Is Newt still a resident of Georgia? If so, if Newt were to be Cain's running mate they would have to forfeit Georgia's Electoral College votes. That's not going to happen.

He lives in Northern Virginia. Just saw him two days ago scrunched down in the car out in the parking lot waiting for his wife to come out of Michaels.
He's lived here some time. Ask Dick to see if he has Newt's addres, or maybe Mark. Those guys gotta' know.
