My Prediction: Obama resigns due to "Medical issues" (lung cancer/emphysema) becomes a health care martyr (amplifying the pity factor)of "Obama's Illness" as the dems run a new candidate to rally their side. That is my prediction, Go on record make your own.

Cain/Gingrich beat Obama/Clinton in the biggest landslide since ‘84.

I will hold my nose as I do almost every 4 years and vote for the Republican (Probably Romney) and hope like hell he wins because the alternative would be a disaster.

I think you are correct on every point.

Cain gets almost 60% of the popular vote.

Obama does not concede and claims irregularities in normally blue states(made up).

Democrats try to stall certification, but enough Dems peel off to threaten immediate impeachment of the president. This causes Obama to concede, but not before issuing 1000 executive orders shielding his allies from prosecution.

I will not hold my nose if it's Romney. I'll vote for the down ticket races so that the House and Senate can attempt to control the winning big government liberal's excesses, regardless of whether it's Romney or Obama in our White House trying to expand the federal government. As for the White House, if the GOP chooses someone unacceptable, I'll write in Palin/Cain, Cain/Gingrich, Bachmann/Demint, or some other acceptable combination.

Romney is unacceptable. Granted, Obama hates America and Romney doesn't, but neither is acceptable, and neither will get my vote. There are many acceptable republicans running, and if we can't manage to choose one, I will not vote for the lesser of two evils.

Sorry, folks. I don't like it any more than you do. But, unless Cain can turn aside this scandal in the next week, this is what will happen.

Cain/Rubio not only sweep into office in a massive landslide, but Obama takes a majority of the Democrat Party with him to a devastating Democrat party defeat at the polls in November, 2012!!! Major defections to Cain/Rubio from American Blacks and American Hispanics, women and all minorities. Coupled with huge majoritites from White Americans, Cain/Rubio get highest “popular vote” in American History!!!!

Palin/Cain (Conservative) and Romney/Perry (RINO) split anti-Obama vote; Obama/Biden (Rat) sail into second term with 480 electoral votes.

Where are these goofy ideas that Obama will resign come from? There is not the slightest chance Hussein will quit and he has a very good chance to be re-elected. He will run the class warfare, tax the rich campaign and based on what passes as the American public these days there is no reason to believe it can’t be successful. Obama’s poll numbers have come back up off his lows and he is sitting in the mid 40’s which is, sadly, quite impressive considering how horrible the economy is.

My election prediction is that it will be Obama/Biden versus Romney/Rubio. It will be a very close, 52/48 type election and I have no idea who will win. While I detest Romney, I am guessing that is who Republican primary voters will default to. The rest of the field is either too weak or too busy shooting themselves in the foot on an almost daily basis.

My guess is that Dem leaders are looking for a replacement to primary Obama but it’s undoubtedly difficult to get a serious taker, since it’s almost certain defeat.

A “replacement” Dem Pres/VP who opposed Obama/Biden in a primary and won the nomination, if they were left-leaning, would have little chance of being elected; the whole point would be to find a centrist team. Such a team, however, would have the same problem that centrist Republicans have: leaning too much to the side of the opposition makes it difficult to differentiate yourself from your opponent. They would essentially be running against the record of the Obama years, the same as the Repubs. Knowing that, most any Dem with the stature to run would not want to run in 2012.

Personally, I see the ambitious but patient strategy of Cain causing his polling to simply continue to slowly but steadily increase, marching right through most primary states with great success.

I’m most concerned about Hillary running as the ‘savior of the dem party.’

I’m praying, that Hillary Clinton does not run. I’m also praying if she does run, she would not be running against Romney.

Do what you have to do, but a no vote or a write in vote is nothing more than a vote to give Obama 4 more years. The last candidate I voted for where I didn’t have to hold my nose was Ronald Reagan. Unfortunately, there aren’t any more Reagans around including all the names you mentioned as possible write ins.

My prediction: Obama runs at the top of their ticket. Someone weak runs at the top of our ticket. As bad as our candidate might be, the election will be mostly an up or down vote on Obama, and that outcome will be decided by gas prices and unemployment. I think the outcome will be a shocker, especially in the House (if the freshmen can and will raise enough money) and Senate races, but I’m not going to get specific beyond that I expect November 8, 2012, to be spectacular.

I predicted Obama would lose in ‘08. I am an idiot predictor of the electorate. I defer to the non-idiot predictors.

I know, and I'm not happy with it. Obama is the greatest threat to America in our history. As damaging as James Buchanan was, he made those decisions because he felt constrained by the Constitution; Obama is doing it because he hates this country, at least as a free country. I'm not asking for another Reagan, and I'll tolerate voting for most of the candidates even if they are unimpressive. I just cannot vote for Romney because he is too much of a big government liberal to even be acceptable. He would cement ObamaCare in place and continue expanding the federal government, both of which are unacceptable. As terrible as Obama is and would continue to be, Romney is not better by enough that it's worth having the voters blame our party for the continuing "unexpected" bad economic news that would result.
