Well in this case, if the pieces fall, it will be a spectacular conflagration.
Kind of like those guys who were hitting it with Russian spies (known as ‘swallows’) in the American embassy in Moscow, maybe 20 years ago? Most of us thought, “well, boys will be boys” until the pictures of those Russian women were posted. Yeah, the pieces fell around those guys.
Impossible.
Thanks for the latin tip. My Latin sucks, like Rossi’s ability to demo.
See new tagline.
Meanwhile, the whole thing is interesting entertainment. Can’t wait to see how it turns out.
2 million Euros for supposedly the greatest technology ever harnessed by man, and an NDA for a device for which he can’t even describe a detailed theory of operation. Yeah that makes sense O.o
To me, the only thing this “let the customer decide” mode of proof is doing is validating P.T. Barnum’s most famous assertion.
Two million Euros is enough operating money to build a bunch more, even without mass production. Lets see who the next announced customers are.
There will continue to be widespread skepticism until there is at least one customer openly comes forward who is (1) large and recognized, and (2) validates the E-Cat as operating in sustained production mode at the customer's facility.
His grammar isn’t going to wind up separating people form a lot of money over something that could be a fraud.
You forget that people here would love to have something like this work. But given the background of the guy and the latest test that could not get the unit producing 1 MW because of a ‘glitch’ it is reasonable to remain skeptical. Since it was running the entire time tethered to a 500 KW generator and only produced a max of 470 KW max during that 5 1/2 hour time, that’s just not eye-popping to me. Once the chambers were heated up by the generator at the beginning of the test, there was no reason they should have taken the generator offline.
I get why Rossi’s being secretive. If this works, he’ll be worth $100B in a blink. Obviously you don’t want to give that away. But something about this just strikes me as sketchy. If you got it, show it, and let the bucks roll in.
If you got it, show it, and let the bucks roll in.
***That’s what he did, that’s what he’s doing. Anyone who wants to prove it’s a fraud can buy one, if they have the means.
I’m surprised the squawkish naysayers aren’t clamoring all over the police agencies to buy one and prove it to be fraud.
Eventually someone who buys a pig in a poke warns everyone else about the scam. Especially they warn the authorities.
Yup. Rossi sucks at giving demos. That’s why he said early on that he only wanted to give this demo to the customer, and if the customer were satisfied he would buy it. But Focardi is in ill health and wanted more demos because he craves the recognition, so he asked Rossi to do it.
Now we are in Rossi’s territory, not Focardi’s. He’ll give demos to anyone who wants to buy it. There’s a certain stark elegance to the approach.
And then the US gubmint “invests” in it .
Yup... you headed the conspiracy theorists off at the pass...
