It appears there may have been few unexpected guests dropping in at the last minute for one Sunday night football game.
A fan, who was recording New Orleans' Saints play the Indianapolis Colts last month posted video 'proof' of an unidentified flying object.
The video was put on YouTube by a user, who only identified himself as reedickyaluss, from the NFL game on October 23.
Just before the game starts, the camera pans across New Orleans, taking in the distinctive St Louis cathedral with its three turrets, when a flash of light zips across the night sky.
When the video is freeze-framed, an object can be seen with multiple flashing lights, a spherical shape with a rod sticking out the top and moving extremely fast.
It flies down from high in the sky, swoops behind the cathedral and then moves off much closer to the ground.

Definitely not a weather balloon.
Where I live, we call those things “bugs”.
This isn’t a UFO, there was a show on cable and they examined these types of images on digital video and what they found is that a small object close to the camera makes it appear as if there is a far away object moving at a very high rate of speed.
What we are seeing is three or four images on the digital frame as the lens is focused on a distant object the insect speeds through the image.
BTW - fair disclosure I am a UFO believer.
It looks like a V-1 “buzz bomb” coming in from Iran to me.
Swamp gas?
Fire balloon or sky lantern?
Then why was it photographed going behind the building??
Geez, why is it everything in the sky these days is a UFO?
Maybe because Obama has killed any programs allowing man-made spacecrafts to fly these days?
That is the most convincing photo I’ve seen since Betty and Barney Hill. You can almost see windows in that.
Nope... I don't think so.
The thing, whatever it is, flies BEHIND the steeple. See the video at 1:25 for example.
> BTW - fair disclosure I am a UFO believer.
Well, I'm not a believer, that is, I don't think UFOs are from outside the near-Earth environment. Certainly not from other planets, much less other stellar systems or galaxies.
Nevertheless, this is pretty cool, and intrigues me. If it's a bug, it's a really big, fast one to get behind the steeple and move that quickly.
“BTW - fair disclosure I am a UFO believer.”

I will believe only after one lands in public, and well documented.
In my opinion, ET has to come from some unknown law of physics, such as an undetected parallel universe, or travel at speeds much greater then that of light.
If they exist, one would expect them to have made it known
by now.
“Rendak, what is score of human football game below?”
“Saints of New Orleans 62, Colts of Indianapolis 7, Lord Captain.”
“Nothing good to see here, Rendak — might as well go home and watch lava harden...”
That game ended 62-7. Way more unbelievable than your garden-variety UFO zipping by. Maybe the aliens wanted to see it for themselves.
Mitt Romney’s pandering knows no bounds.
Could be a rod.
The object definitely appears to be behind the spire in at least 1 frame, with the object showing on both sides of it, the middle part being obscured by the spire...
I believe that UFO threads are pulled here at FR.
Just a heads up, I have seen other threads pulled for just being about UFO’s.
Welcome to the flat earth society.
