OK, here is the point where the mods step in... Originally this Pro-Romney troll went on for about twenty thousand words about how wonderful Romney is and how everyone else sucks. You get the picture. He wrote it to our friends at RedState but posted it here. I take it, probably because he met the same fate there as he just did here. Well, we had a PT test this weekend. I passed the pushups portion, but missed the situps by 6 and the run by four minutes. Not bad for being 36 and having been out of the uniform for eleven years BUT stinktastic for a soldier. No wonder you felt like Keebler Elves ran you over...............LOL! ;)

I’m not certain that I am getting promoted.
But it just looks.. odd.

Yeah, I kinda pushed my luck on the run.
It’s a two mile run.
I did one mile in 9 minutes 15 seconds, I need to drop my one mile time down to six or seven minutes.
Because that will similarly drop my two mile time

Been keeping my trap shut about something I’m doing “Until I was sure it was a go”.
I told only a handful of people, and made mention of it here and there.

I rejoined the military back in July.
Attended my first drill in September, my second drill this past weekend.
[October drill was negated, we were supposed to be atFort Drum but that didn’t happen SOoooo we had no drill for October.]

I was in a waiting room at the phlebotomist's when someone questioned the clock's not matching his wrist watch, and I said that joke. You never heard so many of us old farts laughing our butts off.

I could laugh; I was only there for a saliva test.

Don’t really know what’s going on.
There may be something I’m not aware of yet.
Last time I had to sit in on an after action report was ecause my name was on a list of prospective NCO’s.
Whether or not that is the case this time around I do not know.
So I’m scratching my head and pondering what it means.
*shrugs*

Been out for 11 years, so some things have changed.

As for being setup to take the blame, probably!
I keep getting stuff mailed to me addressed to “Corporal” and my uniforms showed up with Corporal stripes on them.
[I had to fix that because as far as I am aware I am a Specialist “SP4” rank. As far as I know. And I haven’t seen any paperwork to tell me different. Yet.]

AND, she’s been put in charge of stuff repeatedly.

She’s in teh Coast Guard.
Waterway policing, grabbing morons out of the water because they didn’t have their lifejackets and went out boating blitzed, checking freighters etc.
Tink was an older FReeper who helped with teh FReeper Canteen threads.
He was in the Coast Guard, and an inspiration for alot of FReepers.
He passed away a couple years back, but he left a big legacy.
