Ping....
Thanks for the ping!
You’re Welcome, Alamo-Girl!
I’m like you. I get sick if I don’t get the shot, and usually stay well with it.
what?
I'm 63 ... never have, never will.
I can count on one hand the number of times I've "had the flu" in the last 15 or 20 years ... it nails me for a week and I milk it for all it's worth ... ( ...;^) .... )
Shuts them right up.
If you read the article, it is incorrect to say that the flu vaccine is “not effective” at preventing influenza. On the other hand, there is appears to be zero scientific evidence that Vitamin D supplements prevent influenza.
If you understand the basics of the mathematics of immunology, you would know that you don’t need anything like 100% individual efficacy to develop useful levels of herd immunity to prevent mass transmission. Even if you don’t think YOU need it, suck it up, wait in line a few minutes, take the prick in the arm, do it for the young children, oldsters, and immune compromised for whom the prevention of the flu is more important.
Is anyone really getting rich on a $25 flu shot?
Vitamin D3 bump!
100% anecdotal, however: I began taking 5000 U.I. of Vitamin D3 four years ago. Since then I’ve not had even a sniffle. I’ve never been a sickly type of person. But I have had some raging winter colds that hung on for six to eight weeks. Since I’ve been taking the Vit D, no illness.
Thank you Lord Jesus.
Same here...5000 a day keeps the doc away... :-)
If you don't agree with these results, just wait a few months, a new study is now under way.
The experts have proven that both global cooling and then global warming exist and are caused by human activity, and the new study finds this is now called climate change.
The seas are rising but there are places where it is falling, the ice is melting or growing, there are more or less hurricanes than in past years, there are too many people and not enough food, too many people have too much while so many don't have enough... according to karl marx {karl was the marx brother with the big beard}.
Ah, yes. All for the “greater good”. No thanks, the lesser good is what interests me.
I’ve never had one. I did get the flu once in the 90’s though...
Meh. I’m not advocating government forcing it on people. I am saying that personal interest becomes group interest becomes personal interest when it comes to flu immunization. I guess it will take another Spanish Flu to get people to wake up and not be foolish about this.

Wanna bet?
There's tons of evidence, but the drug companies cannot make a profit on this unless they get the real stuff outlawed.
