The violent Racist Occupiers in Oakland tried to retake the local Park after being kicked out this morning, and were met by police, who dispersed the crowd with teargas and rubber bullets after the astroturfers refused to comply.

A happy ending ....

Threatening to kill a white TV reporter probably didn't do much for the cause in Oakland.

OWS is over - I said it last week. Obama and the Dems milked it for whatever PR value there was, Sharpton and his ilk have had their TV-face time, and the point about the “rich” and “Wall Street” has been made. Now the dirty hippies have become an embarrassment.

Following this, the MSM has also dropped all national coverage of OWS. There is no story any more.

The cops can now clear out the bitter-clingers without any concerns about national TV coverage.

Was listening to Glenn Beck this afternoon for a short time and he played a recording of some radical who was saying that they should just storm the tower where the bank honcho is, drag him to the street and kill him. ( words to that effect). I know some think Glenn is a bit off but one thing is for sure, he loves this nation and is worried sick about what is happening and is trying to wake people up to the things these radicals will do.
Oh and he played some tape with the voice of a Lisa ( didn’t get the last name) but she is said to be guess who? Cindy Sheehan and she is espousing radical activity to include destruction of property.
If these radicals are not stopped, we will see violence like we have seen in Europe.

They are trying to get their “Kent State” moment. So far, it hasn’t happened yet.

On a side note: I went through the gas chamber at Camp Lejeune 6 times in one year prior to deployment for Gulf War 1. CS is nasty stuff, but you can build up somewhat of a resistance to it after repeated exposure. By the 6th time, I could almost almost sing the entire Marine’s Hymn without my gas mask. I still would have preferred to be somewhere else though.

One of their problems is that back in the sixties they had few sources of info so the media could make the crowds look huge and threatening. Today everyone has cameras and video and we can all see how pathetic and weak the crown really is.

The minimal arrest, revolving door policies of most of the police forces faced with the OWS crowd allows them to just reform and come right back for more trouble. If the only penalty is a brief trip downtown and a minor fine probably paid by some leftist pressure group, this becomes recreational rioting. The rioters should be arrested on a mass basis and spend a week in jail IMO, that will slow them down. Oh well.
