He did the right thing.
From the report I saw and the recording I heard, it sounded like he was actually driving when he called, or at least drove to a point before he called.

The cops saw those DUI dollar signs, thats about $10,000. But lets hear it from more conservatives who blindly support law enforcement even though all of that law enforcement has been educated at the same far Left institutions that educate every single government employee today. Thats why the police have no compunction shutting down a lemonade stand, every single one just blindly follows orders, if youre not a cop or a part of the government you are the enemy. Theyll retire at 40 and live off a pension while working another job. They think just like any other government employee and dont give a damn about serving the community.

Unionized Police are almost as bad as the fat, stupid, and corrupt unionized fire fighters.

Right on bro! Not to mention conservatives who don’t think twice about the ubiquity of a pulled over driver and a cop’s flashing lights. I see it everyday. I do not accept that is normal or good for society, nor do I assume the cop’s right to do it.

If OnStar’d been on the ball, they would have said, “Okay, sir, first turn off the vehicle. Then tell us whom you’d like for us to call.”

Jeebus, and they called the cops?? There’s some customer service for you. OnStar should offer to pay for his lawyer.

Are you a friggin anarchist? I have friends and family that are cops, FBI and ATF agents and they are all conservatives. To sit there and make stupidly blank statements makes your conservatism more questionable.
Pound sand stupid.

It's a GM vehicle- calls like this are routed through the Obama Justice Dept. first to make sure discrimination is not occurring.

Yea I got a problem with it. He was not driving. He calls for help. He did the right thing as thought on the “drinking and driving” ads, yet he is punished for doing the right thing?
I hope he gets a good lawyer and sues their a$$.

Read the article. He WAS drivng. Or do you think someone drove him there and then locked him in his own truck?
The law - and it’s a good law - allows for DWI charges in cases like this.

Onstar can turn off the vehicle.
To: goseminoles
They can also unlock the vehicle.
I've had them do that for me before.
Of course I was outside the vehicle and semi-sober.

Yup they also saw his vehicle parked in the middle of the road where he had DRIVEN it and then got stuck inside. Glad there wan't anybody stuck underneath his truck or the cops may have seen the "dollar signs" that vehicular homicide might have brought.
