A French national went berserk at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport after his Filipina girlfriend did not show up to meet him Thursday night, airport authorities said.
Dominique Albert George Fremond, 55, became unruly and started throwing his things at the arrival lobby of the NAIA Terminal 1 around 10 p.m.
Well now, can anyone think of a reason she might have decided to ditch him?
What does this guy Fremond expect? How could the girl meet him at 10 pm at night? She had school in the morning and middle schoolers need their sleep.../s.
I guess I should be thankful...Mine was waiting for me.
Marital bliss, par excellance
this guy sounds like a perv who do what most pervs do eventually, flip their lid.

What a beautiful girl! Well done Henry!
Mine is always there to meet me too. Even though her schedule is very tight with her studies...
I’ll bet they didn’t have any Gray Poupon too!
I had to trust my young Filipina, to get on the airplane in Manila, to come to San Francisco, where I waited for her. She did, and we have been married over 6 years now. Fortunately, I knew the family, and knew I could trust her. I have no regrets.
Some of these marriages work, and some don’t.
I’ve seen guys whose main problem was that they were nerdy...they chose to get married to Pinoys (and one to a Russian girl)because they were afraid of the aggressive man hating American women... and their marriages often were happy...
alas, in other cases, the man is alcoholic or abusive and divorced for that reason, but he thinks if he gets a “submissive” woman things will be fine. Of course, no one is that submissive, so there are cases where the girl is abused and in a few cases killed, so the government worries about them.
And it’s not just Americans and Europeans: I met a Bolivian citizen of Japanese ethnic origin who was working at a Japanese car factory (there are quite a few of them who were recruited back to the old country). But there were no Japanese girls willing to marry a semi “foreigner”.... He found a Filipina and kept flying down to court the girl...I met him when he went through customs. He didn’t understand English, so they got a Japanese translator. But being born and raised in Bolivia, his Japanese wasn’t too good either... Luckily I noticed the passport, and offered to translate...my Spanish is not good but okay. He was quite a nice guy and I hope they are happy, but I do wonder what language they will communicate in. Probably she will quickly learn Japanese (lots of japanese schools here for nurses etc.)
there are also a lot of Korean farmers who marry Filipinas or Vietnamese women because there are no Korean women who want to stay on the farm.
Finally, the US ambassador said that 40 percent of men visiting the Philippines came here for “sex tourism”, and caused a huge outcry.
If he mean single men visiting here, I think that number is probably too low.
A lot of the girls are poor, and see marriage as a nice escape to a better life, and being Asians figure that love will follow marriage. That’s not always true, but in many cases it is.
