I'm barely online at the moment - I installed System Mechanic Pro on this PC, and it proceeded to destroy my boot record and called a system halt at boot up, so it's kept me busy since about 6 PM. I'm in the process of reinstalling
everything and at the moment and I'm currently installing Win XP SP3, which is taking forever and a day. We have eight PC's in the house (seven live, and one HP dual core in the bull pen, waiting for me to add an extra 4 GB of memory and a sssssssmokin' new video card), but this is my favorite because it's in the bedroom, where I also have a 42' plasma screen, a 350 watt receiver/amplifier, Blu-ray player, and a Sirius/XM receiver, all networked together and cabled to our broadband Internet router. Plus, I keep a rifle in the closet (the Mosin-Nagant a.k.a. the Baltic flamethrower), and my Colt Navy in the cedar chest I'm leaning against. I have a separate 'guy' room with a rustic mountain cabin theme to it with lots of pine tree decorum, fishing portraits on the wall, bookshelves, a small log cabin incense burner, my fishing rack in the corner with eight poles in it, a craft/PC workbench along one wall, Thomas Kinkade country cabin window curtains, metal pine tree wall art, pine tree area rug, a rowboat-shaped lamp with tiers that hold functional lures and has an oilskin shade with a 360 degree mural of fishing in a country lake (which bears an eerie resemblance to the back side of Lake Koon, PA, where my grandfather first taught me to fish at the age of three), a lighted pine tree in one corner........you get the idea. I have a custom built PC named Frankenstein in there (named so due to my insistence that I add so much custom blue neon tubing, blue backlit LCD displays, blue plasma internal lighting, all in a black case, it looks like a piece of equipment in Victor Frankenstein's lab. Even the chrome fan and case bolts have built-in blue LCD's - my dogs will not get near this thing. They consider it evil on some sort of primal level.) Yet next to it, my trusty old laptop sits there, always running, with a well-designed Christmas theme running on it 365 days a year. I have a beautiful wallpaper, I run the Holiday Lights app around the edge of the screen (Google it), and the speakers play everything from Bing Crosby to Burl Ives to Johnny Mathis to the Peanuts theme to Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Until the screensaver kicks in - a very realistic fireplace, complete with sound. But, I have gone off on a tangent again, as I do this time of night. Time to reboot and see what sort of new surprises await me when this box comes up.

That’s an excellent run-down of your systems and guy room! I also have a log cabin incense burner. Those are neat-o!
I hope your boot-up went well, Viking.
