It does matter if he wins or loses. The myth that the Christian player is automatically hated has to face why ESPN shows so much love for Reggie White, Kurt Warner, Troy Polamalu and Steve Young. I know it’s popular to assume all the criticism stems from his religion, but it flies in the face of history.
For 3 1/2 quarters Tebow proved all his critics right, his release was slow, he failed to see open receivers, and his passes were inaccurate. Just like they’ve been saying about him since his senior year in college. There’s no virulent hate, they’re paid to point out the deficiencies of players in the field, that’s the job.
Next week’s Detroit @ Denver game is an interesting matchup now. After starting out 5 - 0, the Lions have lost their last two. ...both at home. And it’ll be Tebow’s first home start.

The funny thing is that you know they’re going to trash him when they start out with , “ he’s a great guy BUT....”. The Broncos suck , it’s still a team sport and I wish the cowboys would trade for him.
