Mrs. Obama is a real style icon, but the very real and practical strategies she uses to look good as First Lady are the same tips all moms can use. She has the same insecurities and concerns about how she looks as we do, but if we follow her five solid tips for looking good and feeling good, we too can shine in our own skin.

Summer - short sleeves. Shorts as we can wear such to work in the summer.
Spring/Fall - lightweight long sleeves. Jeans.
Winter - LL Bean flannel/chamois shirt. Jeans.

I'm a guy. My fashion sense is limited to making sure I don't have a stain on my work shirts.

I live encased in thermal underwear during the winter. I unpacked them all the other day for a fall wash before suiting up tomorrow. When it gets supper cold I wear my carhardt coveralls over my clothes most days.

Such is life in Michigan.
