Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton once again quashed rumors that she's still interested in running for president, this time in an interview with NBCs Today on Monday.
I'm really old-fashioned. I feel I have made my contribution," Clinton said. "Im very grateful Ive had a chance to serve, but I think its time for others to step up." Writing, teaching, and working on issues that affect women and girls will be in her future, Clinton assured NBC's Savannah Guthrie; that and relaxing at home.
Clinton shrugged off speculation that she should run against President Obama in 2012or that she should have been elected instead of him in 2008. It feels irrelevant to me, Clinton said. She praised Obama for doing an excellent job under the most difficult circumstances.

Yikes. Somebody give that hag a broom.
Good riddance, indeed. It's been kind of nice not hearing that screeching voice every week.
As to giving up on herself, I think the treacherous back-stabbing she received from Obama and her former 'friends' was the thing that popped Hillary's bubble, and took the fight out of her. That had to have been the wake up call of a lifetime, and yes, it shows on her face.
I seriously doubt that she's a true believer anymore.
Her involvement in Fast & Furious should make it a bit more difficult to run.
Another, “Ah don’ts feel noways tard” moment.
Smart leaders don’t ask to lead, they wait for others to ask them. Still, I think that if she was making a move, she would have done it by now.

I agree completely that the Hildabeast looks like she’s been ridden really hard (but not by Bill) and put up wet but I really disagree that she is through with politics or that she won’t take a run at the Presidency.
I suspect she’s kept a lower than normal (for her) profile partly because she sees the contempt most rational Americans hold for Obama. By ratcheting down her visibility, she’s kept what she thinks are favorable ratings in the minds of “her” people. I think she’ll try to step in and try to fill the breach at the opportune time. Whether or not that is 2012 or 2016, I cannot say. Could she raise a billion bucks soon enough to take on Obama? Probably not, but she surely could for 2016. Heaven knows though, how much more “tired” she’ll look by then.
She is probably looking forward to fleeing the scene before Issa and the oversight committee can tie her to Fast and Furious.
I agree with you. She feels old and tired and no matter how insane she may be, she can look in the mirrow and see what’s there.
She’s a has been.
I feel for your. With a hyper quick Mute finger, I have never heard a complete sentence from the hag, her draft-dodger beard, or the current usurper.
A minor accomplishment, I know, but great to provoke liberals with. The total ignoring of their messiah seems to really enrage them, like some sort of sacrilege or something..........You ignored the word of the messiah????
That's the other conclusion one can make about her maintaining a low profile. It might even seem likely to me, except for the fact that her body language and demeanor tell me that she's really done.
I don't think she's lying.
True dat.
Hillary was a has-been when she ran for president. She just didn't know it. I think she's finally realized it.
Sometimes my radio remote is across the office on my wife's desk, and I have to endure an audio clip from one of those people, but it's not often. I'll get up and mute it the old way, if I have to. Especially when Zero's on. I can not take the sound of that man's voice.
