I live in a semi-rural area of far southwest Knox County, about 22 miles from downtown Knoxville, TN. I always cary a loaded gun in my car, keep another in my bedside table, and have two large black and white dogs, on an 85 lb. Pitador and the other an 8 mo. old black and white Great Dane, who’s now about 80 lb. I had three burglaries from 1987 to 1995, when shall issue CCW was adopted, and not another since. Fortunately, I have never had to even display either gun in anger.
