Zachary Quinto has joined the ranks of celebrities like Ricky Martin, Lance Bass and Ellen DeGeneres by publicly admitting he's gay.
In a new interview with New York Magazine, the 34-year-old actor finally reveals the truth about his sexuality.
The actor, best known for playing Spock in the Star Trek reboot and Sylar on Heroes, confirms that he's 'a gay man' in the article.
'As a gay man, it made me feel like there's still so much work to be done, and there's still so many things that need to be looked at and addressed,' he said.

Who the hell is this gay? Really.
LOL!
In the words of Larry the Cable Guy: “Now that’s funny right there. I don’t care who you are.”
My Gaydar had him pegged, so to speak, back in Heroes.
I am not surprised. I have known at least one person who has been and then not been. If it’s genetic or in some way preprogrammed, how can you change?
I wasn't surprised, when he resisted Kaylee throughout the entire series run of Firefly.
Seriously though... Who cares? If they want to do this, fine, just don't do it in front of me.

This is the gay paradise. They walk in and you stand up and applaud, pat them on the back and give them the attention they always wanted and think they need, not because they did anything worth mentioning like step on the moon or break the speed of sound, no their claim to fame is that they take it in the rear or stick it there.
Just pathetic little queers that aren't much unlike the kids that walk around with blue hair up in a Mohawk.
Things that need to be looked at and addressed? Hmm. How about the overwhelming amount of homos who have HIV/AIDS? Syphilis is also a big problem, since the number of homos who have it is rising considerably.
A gay man yes, but is he a journalist?
So I guess he wants a medal.
“and there’s still so many things that need to be looked at and addressed
...”
Better go see a doctor. That isn’t going to clear up on its own.
So now both Sulu AND Spock are gay.
Should I destroy my DVD copy of JJ Abrams’ “Star Trek”?
Star Crack, going places where no man has gone before...
Because they know it's wrong and they want validation for their perversion?
Only to this extent.
So long as gay actors are not militant and in-your-face about their private matters, I will continue to watch them in films. Otherwise, even a bit part will poison any future film for me.
That goes for TV too.
Up to them.
Do they want to be actors? Or pervert militants?
“’I am a gay man’”
That’s a better admission than “I am a gay American.” Still, who cares?
“Ummm, Leonard Nimoy played Spock, No? “
in the original yes
this is the more recent Star Trek “reboot” movie so the new spock
