This is wrong. The government should be a responsible custodian of investigated property, not an abuser or enjoyer of it.

This is egregious. What this decision says to me is the Feds can seize your property, perhaps to intimidate you or retaliate against you for your political views, then damage or destroy your property and you have no recourse.

a law making the government immune to lawsuits when property is in custody of law enforcement.Seems like a violation of the 5th amendment protection of private property.

This will go to appeal and be overturned. There is no way the government can take proeprty then destroy it.
